Matt Fassler is the business unit leader for the US consumer sector in the Global Investment Research division of Goldman Sachs, as well as the firm’s senior hardlines retail analyst. Matt joined Goldman Sachs in 1992 as a financial analyst and became a senior analyst in 1995 and a vice president in 1998. He was named managing director in 2004. In addition to his core coverage, he publishes extensively on omnichannel retail and “the store of the future.”
Matt earned a BA in History from Yale University in 1992.
