Lauren Freedman is a seasoned 24–year digital veteran, author of It’s Just Shopping, as well as a recognized and respected figure in omni-channel retail. In March, 2016, 20 years after founding the e-tailing group, her company was acquired by Astound Commerce, a full service digital agency, working with top ecommerce platforms and a myriad of retailers. Her team is charged with creating innovative thought leadership and proprietary research that benchmarks the retail vertical sharing insights with the industry and the media. Freedman’s role also includes guiding clients in the development of exemplary customer experiences and their respective strategies. Lastly, they are excited about evangelizing digital commerce throughout the organization.
