VP Customer Experience Network/ Sunrise Commercialization, The Kroger Co.

Annette Franke is Vice President of Kroger Technology and Chief Operating Officer of Sunrise, LLC (Sunrise), for The Kroger Co., based in Cincinnati. Her current responsibilities include delivery and execution of the Customer Experience Network strategic plan, along with leadership responsibility for the Kroger Support Center (KSC) and Kroger Customer Connect (KCC) support centers. She also has operational responsibility for the development and execution of the Sunrise commercialization strategy and market development for its suite of products, including Shelf EDGE, Sensor Network and many others.

Before joining Kroger, Annette was V.P. Program Management Office, at LexisNexis. Previously she also spent 7 years in management consulting at Deloitte and more than 11 years at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a Johnson & Johnson company, as Worldwide Director, IT. There she had global responsibility for IT teams supporting global supply chain, manufacturing operations, quality and regulatory, human resources and financial systems platforms. Annette joined Kroger in 2011 in her current role.

Annette earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Cincinnati. She sits on the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business Operations Business Analytics and Information Systems (OBAIS) Advisory Board, the FMI Technology Board and the Bethany House Board of Trustees.  Annette was named one of Progressive Grocers’ 2014 Top Women in Grocery and was previously named one of Cincinnati’s “One Hundred Wise Women”.
