Prior to his current role, Eric Caballero was a Vice President of Marketing at Amazon, where he leveraged data science, user experience, and customer journeys to grow customer lifetime value across subscriptions (Audible, Music, Prime, Video) and devices (Alexa and Fire). While at Amazon, Caballero specialized in developing highly-personalized customer membership programs globally that fuel incremental purchasing on the Amazon website as well as its suite of mobile apps and consumer devices such as Alexa and Fire TVs. Caballero was one of a group of experts within Amazon that used machine learning to optimize customer ID targeting and content personalization.
Prior to Amazon, Caballero was responsible for driving growth initiatives and brand strategy for Kaplan, SAP, and Boeing. He cut his teeth in entrepreneurship in the late 90s as software engineer turned growth hacker working for Netscape’s Jim Clark on Shutterfly.
Caballero holds an MBA from MIT, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UCLA. He resides in Los Angeles.
